Hello everyone! I'm hoping someone can assist me or provide some insight into what's causing my issue here. I have a CyberPower Desktop PC that is experiencing a bit of an odd issue which only appears to happen on 2 games that I have installed on my computer: Overwatch (The beta while it was out), and Arma 3 (Playing the Exile DayZ mod).

Randomly, the game screen will freeze and I will hear a loud buzzing noise coming from my headset. The computer will then do one of four things and it's random which happens: it will freeze momentarily and then continue allowing me to play, it will freeze until I force it to shut off and restart, it will shut down and restart on its own, or it will shut down and I will have to manually restart it. There is no log in Event Viewer beyond "The computer shutdown was unexpected".

System Specs
- OS - Windows 10 Home 64-bit (10.0 Build 10586)
- Motherboard - GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 rev 4
- CPU - AMD FX-9370
- Liquid Cooling - Corsair H75
- Graphics - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti
- RAM - 16GB DDR3
- HDD - 750GB WD Blue

I have currently tried (to the best of my memory):
- Using both updated (current) and older AUDIO and VIDEO drivers
- Running Prime95 and Furmark for extended periods of time to stress test the CPU and GPU which ran with no issue
- Ran Memtest86 to confirm there is no issue with RAM
- Ran sfc/scannow and chkdsk with no errors reported
- Disabled the Turbo features in the BIOS

I've monitored my CPU temperatures while playing both of these games and it will usually run anywhere between 65C - 85C at the hottest if it gets too hot in the house while playing. The freezing doesn't happen at any particular temp though. Also, according to Speccy the voltages for my PSU show:
CPU - 0.9V - 1.5V (It will show 1.5V constantly while playing games and 0.9 while at rest)
DRAM - 1.488V
+5V - 5.070V
+12V - 12.168V

P.S. - I want to point out that the reason I'm using a Corsair H75 is due to the fact a larger one won't actually fit in my case. I don't have the money to afford a larger case at the moment, but once I can I plan to upgrade to a better cooling system.

EDIT - It just occurred on my PC again; however, this time it gave my a BSOD with a CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT error

Solution
Going to post what worked for me in the event that it may help someone else.
What I ended up doing was actually plugging my computer directly into the wall vs in the surge protector that it was in before. In addition, I also went into the advanced power settings and set the maximum CPU setting to 95% and that has so far fixed all of my problems. My computer also stays a hell of a lot cooler - even playing Overwatch only runs my CPU around 60C with perfect fps

I think you have a faulty core in the CPU, or a motherboard problem.

Updating / reinstalling the motherboard Chipset drivers and your Bios may help.

last resort may be to reset the motherboard and CMOS

Its worth also testing the ram memtest

I've already tested the RAM. Also if the CPU had a faulty core wouldn't that be something that shows up while running a stress test?

I did format my HDD and reinstall WIndows last night and updated the Chipset and BIOS as well so I'm going to give it a shot to see if I experience the same error again or not.
