Hello and thank you for helping in the first place.

So i recently build my first AMD pc and so far i´m in love with it. Before the FX i had an old i5.

Ok so my problem now is i dont realy know how to overclock my Cpu the correct way with the bios. atm i have a stable clock at 4ghz with Cpu voltage at 1.360 and with this it is totaly stable. but i want more clock the 4ghz are the turbo clock but i want defenetly more but i´m not sure how to get it.

https://abload.de/img/cpuirxwi.jpg this is a screen of CpuZ and Coretemp

i´ve tested with AMD Overdrive but i dont know how to work with the programm corectly so i´ve done it manualy with the bios, the following things are disabeld

AMD TURBO Core tech
Cool N quite
C1E
SVM
Core C6 state

Can you guys guide me to some good clocks? and how to achive them i´m realy new to the wohle OC Stuff.

My rig is the following

Asus 970 ProGaming/Aura
AMD FX 8320-E
Arctic Liquidcooling 240
HyperX Fury 16gb 1888 mhz
Thermaltake Paris 650Watt Gold

Solution
Processor is unlocked so start just by raising multiplier and checking temps and stability until it is not stable any more. After that you can set voltages manually and raise CPU voltage a bit at a time.

The maximum recommended temperature is 62c for that cpu. As long as you stay at or lower then 60-62c under load, you'll be fine. I have a machine with a fx 6300 which is a 95w tdb chip as well. It runs just fine @4.5ghz at 1.425v. You'll be able to hit 4.5ghz easy with your setup. And if you've done well enough in the silicon lottery, maybe you'll be able to break the 4.8-5ghz mark.

Like he said, just raise the multiplier until you get instability, then give it a bit more voltage until stable again. Make sure you turn off all the power saving settings in the BIOS, maybe set LLC to Medium. Once you hit that wall were temps or voltages take a big spike, back off the overclock just a tad and that's all there is to it.

Just make sure you have good airflow in the case so the VRM's can breathe for voltages over 1.4v.

I just got my board last night but had just upgraded from a crap Mobo with bad overclocking support tis board has everything we need to achieve good clocks. As long as you have adequate Cooling like (Basically anything besides stock cooler.) I'm using a Corsair H100i v2 it cools great. Next you want to make sure your VRM is cool if your going to overclock high.
Why are you using AMD Over Drive?
You have a lot of options in the bios to overclock as well as if you don't feel comfortable doing overclock in the bios us AI tuner and Asus's other apps included for overclocking. overdrive is ok but you should really try to adjusting the multipliers in the bios or AI tuner. But shoot for bios :)

Look at this page to read more into overclocking the E series chips.

Let us know if you need help. Happy overclocking!

Oh and the best way I've found to overclock is not multipliers but watch Jay twocentz don't copy what he's doing numbers wise but his instructions are flawless I got a stable 4.6 GHz today with following him doing fsb overclocking. Sorry if I'm not allow to place a yt link mod take the link out if I can't but if the mod take this link out just google jayz twocentz 8250 overclocking guide follow what he does our boards can handle the settings he uses just not the numbers use you own you will know what I mean when you see it. https://youtu.be/MckeAmnDeTk
