hello! im new here so please be gentle lol
first of all here are my specs before ill give the details about my problem
NOTE: no overclocking done.. all running on stock settings
Processor: Intel Celeron g1840 (temp when gaming: 40-50C)
RAM: Transcend 4gb 1 stick
GPU: GT 730 DDR3 2GB (temp when gaming: 70C)
Mobo: ECS H81H3-M4
OS: Windows 7 64-bit Ultimate
PSU: 700W generic psu
HDDs: SAMSUNG 500GB and Seagate 500GB
Tests/Fixes done for the problem:
Furmark = passed max temp 70C
Intel Burn Test(standard) = passed max temp 60C
VideoCard Stability Test (the one with the red X icon) = passed (300minutes)
Reformatted and installed a clean OS (the one I am using right now)
Updated BIOS, chipset drivers, nvidia drivers and everything.
NVIDIA Support suggesting lowering the gpu clocks by 50 each (problem still exists)
Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool (Extended) = 2 runs no errors
System File Checker = no errors
Disk Check = no errors/bad sectors
hybrid sleep is off with powerplans set to performance
Problem:
been experiencing random shutdowns with event ID 6008 and 41 with no specified cause. no BSODs. just plain power off.
When: randomly, sometimes just browsing the net, sometimes playing games like Skyrim.
please help.
P.S. please don't answer with useless comments like "low end pc problems blabla" thanks!
