I am currently running this system http://outervision.com/b/LrckCX but with a Geforce GT 640. My plan is to replace that with a Geforce GTX 970 for gaming purposes and add an SSD to install a new game on and my OS. Will this be overkill for this machine and should I purchase a GTX 960 or something lower instead? All advice is GREATLY appreciate! Thank you!

I would probably lean towards the gtx 960 based on the wattage of that unit, I know dell splits things off on the different rails so there may not be the full 460w available on the 12v rails that the graphics card could use.

I think I'll buy the 970, and if the PSU seems to be a problem, i'll just upgrade that to a different one. Thanks again for your help!

Eh, just did some more reading, apparently that's not a good idea as it might blow. So I'll upgrade the power supply too. Does this seem ok? http://www.bestbuy.com/site/thermaltake-smart-series-650w-bronze-power-supply-black/8733872.p?id=1219365660388&skuId=8733872&productCategoryId=abcat0507009#
