Hi,

I've been asked to find a WAP for us to try to improve the Wifi reliability at our company. We're a small company with approx 25-30 people.
With laptops, mobile phones and a few other devices I'd expect typically we have about 30 devices connected wirelessly and about 20 wired. We expect this number to grow.

We get 150mbs from Virgin Media consumer internet. I'm hoping by putting the supplied router in modem mode and connecting a decent WAP will help things. (I believe I'm right in saying that we can't replace the router for cabled internet?)

I know a minimal about good networking, but I was looking at something like this?
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Ubiquiti-Networks-UAP-AC-PRO-access-point/dp/B016XYQ3WK/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8

The budget I was given was vague so looking for any suggestions.

Edit:
Just to add, our office space is one large rectangular room with a couple of meeting rooms off it.

Thanks
