That will be the parts I will be getting to build my PC later on in the year.

However I am having trouble deciding to keep this gpu or get a better one.

Which your guys suggestion should I keep this GPU or get a etter one such as 980, 980ti or wait for 1070 and 1080 to come out.

Mainly I am asking this because I want to have frame rates above 144 fps due to me gonna get a 144 hz monitor. Or at least near it with max settings in games.

Or is my current GPU good enough for games such as bf4, overwatch,tf2,cs:go, laura craft, assassins creed and games that are coming out in the near future. I am mainly a fps competitive shooter player.

I agree with ihog. Wait for the 1070 to come out. It's going to be 380$, is going to come with 8GB Vram, and is coming out in 20 days. It's going to be, according to Jen-Hsun Huang, faster than a Titan X. That'll be a good fit for you and will have the best price/performance ratio (If Jen-Hsun Huang didn't exaggerate the card during the reveal). If you decide that you need even more performance, you could always get a 1080 with 8gb of GDDR5X ram for 580$. You can see 1070 vs 970 here:

I heard though from tech city yes and some other sources from other sites that the gtx 1070 got nerfed pretty badly and is not strong as it was though to be. If i misinterpreted some how please explain it to me.

Which also makes me want to get a 1080 instead, but then i will suffer because the people who bought 1070 that will upgrade to 1080ti or future amd Polaris will benefit more then a person with 1080 who is waiting for a 1080ti or Polaris.
