Buy additional 970 or switch to 1080

I think it may be wise to buy the REALLY LOW prices of the 970 while people are willing to sell them for dirt cheap to switch to the 1080, what do you guys think? Do you think I could get more value out of my 970s after the rush when I actually need to switch? Right now I'm gaming 1080p and I feel two 970s would put me in a great spot.

It'll only go down, it's even decreasing now. With the prices of the new 10XX series, and the direction they're going in, it'd be wise to sell them now. Especially with the launch in a couple of days. Keep in mind that while people are selling them quickly, there are also potential buyers (because of the rapid decrease). Go for the 1080, one powerful card is better than two weaker cards. You don't want to deal with SLI, it's a real hassle, it generates more heat output, consumes more power, and the drivers can be a mess.

Well if I sell the 970, how to I get the most value out of it, sell it now or wait till later?

Well, I'm overhauling my entire computer because I had to RMA defective RAM, so I have had a lot of time to move around new parts. I just thought it was a convenient time.
