I just bought a home and got fiber through a local phone company(my parents have had service with them for years and i used to have GREAT connection to games no problem). I have no problem at all with the download and upload as you can see: http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/5348435540 , it's fairly decent. But the only issue i'm having is the connection to servers(I know nothing about this kind of stuff) but i could imagine that my ping should be lower than 14 to a server that's literally in my city? And in games on PC, Xbox, ipad, whatever, the connection to servers is always pretty bad to say the least. I usually ping about 100, even to servers that are southeast. I'm paying $165 a month for this internet do you think I'm getting my moneys worth and is there anything I could do to possibly help my connection to servers before I contact the ISP? The ping really affects my gameplay and i just dont feel like the routing to other servers isn't up to par with my download and upload speed and something is going wrong somewhere.

Edit: Just saw the stickied thread
