Questions about speakers & headsets, Im a hardware noob

So i have a z313 logitech speaker set which has a control pod with a headset pass through, If i buy and plug in a headset will it output only to the headset or both.

Also, if i plug my headset in is it possible for my games like gta 5 to use my speakers and things like teamspeak to use my headset?

Yes the speakers will mute when you connect headphones.

As for getting two audio stream, no this will not work.

You can in some systems use the rear ports for one stream of audio and the front ports for another(the would allow TS an a game on separate speakers or headphones.). It is a feature on most Realtek onboard cards. This works well only with software that allows select a sound card(many just use the system default.).
