Best computer 1000£ Pre-Built

Prebuilds tend to use junk power supplies. As that one does not offer a brand name, for its power supply, it is most likely junk. Also that is an older, last gen processor. Still decent, but no upgrade path. I'd be wary of any site that cannot even list the right socket, under the features list. The OS is another cost, you need to consider.

well it's got a bronze rated psu...which MAY be ok...it'll probably work just fine but it's not ideal. thats not a horrible computer. it uses nice parts. but it seems over priced to me but im not fluent on the pounds to dollars conversion...

No, a no name PSU would definitely have to be replaced at some point. Long story short at that budget, £1000 = $1450 US (approx). There really aren't any good prebuilt PCs at that price range. The mid range vendors (Cyberpower) skimp out on critical components and the high end vendors (Falcon, Maingear, Origin, etc) charge an arm and a leg for an i3-6100 system. It's a catch 22.

absolutely not. it could work just fine for the entire life of the computer....its not like it's destined to fail at some point. it's possible. but it's just as possible it could last for the life of the computer. cut the scare tactics.

i'm not saying i dont recommend using a different PSU...

He cant do it himself either so prebuilt is the only option

agreed. you totally CAN do it yourself. don't let your brother stop you. tell him to go suck it. haha just kidding. but seriously all it takes is a week or two of watching build guides and reading up on it. how old are you?

Should tell him to look for his own computer then :p

In all seriousness, as long as he understands that he won't be getting anywhere near the performance as a DIY computer if he goes prebuilt, in addition to more than likely having lower quality parts, then tell him to buy whatever. Last time my brother refused to listen he bought a prebuilt from cyberpower. It never performed as well as mine (which had cost less), and needed to be RMA'd twice for dead PSU's

Yeah any time you see an "(XX Vendor) Approved" component - that is a massive red flag. Because it's usually something that's low tier junk.
