I've had this problem for a little while now but only recently it has become way too much to deal with. When I first load up a game it takes about 20 minutes then my computer restarts, no bluescreen, no errors. Then once my PC restarts, if I go back on the game it just instantly restarts again. This made me think it's definitely a heating issue. I've been monitoring my temps very closely, highest my GPU has got to is 75c and my CPU is the same, roughly 75c. I don't think it is to do with the GPU or CPU, I think it is the PSU. It's a 4-5 year old PSU (800w) but I've been checking the fan on it, it doesn't seem to spin anymore. Another thing which makes me think the PSU is faulty, when I shutdown my computer in the evening, all my monitors lose signal etc but the fans and LED lights on the computer stay on for about 1 minute then it shuts down fully. I'd just love to hear any suggestions people have. I'd rather not buy a new PSU and it turns out it's not that causing the problem. My hardware is:
Intel Core i5-4690K CPU @ 3.50GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.5GHz (Not overclocked)
Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 (Not overclocked)
MSI Z97 GAMING 3 Motherboard
Corsair Vengence 16GB DDR3 RAM
Corsair Hydro H60 CPU Cooler
