It happened when was connected into my laptop and laptop was just switch off itself because big heat after power cut and temperature was like 37 inside. When start electricity work same as airconditioner I thought its ok to swich on laptop again but since that time portable hard disk disappear. I tried different USB slot, restarts PC many times, nothing change. On HDD is so many files I'm worry if I even lost it which will create other problem for me. I tried contact Seagate they didn't help at all. What should I do? Can anyone help?

In that case, you don't really have many options, as you will not be able to access the drive with software tools.
Your safest bet for recovering the data would be to contact a data recovery company.
Other users, in similar cases, take the drive out of the enclosure and attach it internally via SATA & power cable.(as an internal drive) This could sometimes work, in case all of this is caused by faulty enclosure.(not the HDD itself)
Keep in mind that may not work due to multiple reasons such as: proprietary connectors, encryption, etc. Also, this will void the warranty.

Yeah, you need to always back up the data you can't afford to loose.

Hi there Monika_5,

That is unpleasant.
As far as I understand, the drive is not recognized by Disk Management and my PC but it is recognized by Devices and Printers right?
If this is the case, then there's a chance that your system recognized only the enclosure but not the HDD inside. I doubt that you will be able to access it with software tools.

I see that you've tried using a different USB port. You will need to use different USB cable as well. It would be nice to even attach it to another system.

In case the issue persists, and if the data stored on the drive is really important, you will need to contact a data recovery company.
Of course, you can try using some data recovery tool. Though, as I already mentioned, there's a chance that the tool will not pick up the drive. Here's a link on data recovery: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-1644496/lost-data-recovery.html

Let me know how this goes,

Thanks D_Know_WD,
I tried change cable also connect with different PC an its same like by my PC. I also tried some soft like EaseUS Partition Master 11.0 as I rea some post That could help locate isk and write new name with alphabet, but nothing shows. I start get headache from this. I have like 7 HDD Seageate too and WD and never face such problem. When this happened I start duplicate some important data from other HDDs because I'm worry now that something wrong may happened again. But still don't know, what to do with that vanished HDD.
