Hey Guys,

I have two sticks of Kingston Hyperx Fury.. 8 GB each..

But one of them has a frequency of 1600MHz and the other one has a frequency of 1866MHz

I heard that different frequencies of RAM may cause problems..

So, will I face any Problem?

Solution

Some motherboards automatically reduce the higher one to match the lower one which in your case is 1600mhz so if your motherboard does that both of them would be running at 1600mhz.

Try them together, worst case scenario, they won't work. They probably won't work. If that's the case, simply go into bios and manually set the frequency and timings to the same values. When that's done, they will most likely run together. Feel free to post your results if you try it.
