Will i7 4790k work with Asus sabertooth X99? (Pros & Cons)

Solution
Ricardo_8,
how much u know about the LGA2011v3 socket (Intel Xtreme Edition)?
and what kind of people are buy that edition of processors and why?

I you wanna playing the high-end game... so that processors won't help you never.....
That Xtreme processors help you while you r doing the heavy multitasking like 3D modeling or rendering.....
when u working heavy... the processors multi core & and extra threats are activated... this is the benifite of this processors......

But if u play the games or doing the mid-end work... u should buy the different type of processors.... because while u playing the games this processors lower clock speed won't help you and never activated extra cores and threats.........

Just keep in mind Xtreme...

No, it will not. The 4790K is an LGA1150 chip, and the X99 only supports LGA2011-3 chips. Trying to force the 4790K into there will damage the motherboard, and maybe even the chip. You will need a 5820K, 5930K or a 5960X for that board.

If you're still planning out your build, try a Z97 chipset.

If you wanna do that... i'ts ok........ either u just waste your money....

and if u wanna buy processor for gaming or mid-end working like designing, browsing, office application, networking etc....
u can buy intel's latest CPU series skylake or something similar
