Hi: I want to permanently mount a video camera to the back wall of an auditorium (about 200 feet long) and connect it to an HDTV. The distance from camera to TV is about 20 feet.

Budget is $350-ish.

I see ways to do this with full featured cameras but I don't need anything but a clear, clean, high quality image of the hall and have no need to record anything.

Suggestions? Thanks

well.... If your camera has an HDMI out, then just plug a ~20ft HDMI cable from your camera to the TV and use it as your "live view" screen

according to what your doing some of these might be helpful as well:
HDMI extension cables: http://www.amazon.com/HDMI-Extension-Cable-10-FT/dp/B00GBBSZFE/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1463348701&sr=1-3&keywords=hdmi+extension+cable

according to what your camera is you might need either of these:
Mini-HDMI to HDMI cable: http://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-High-Speed-Mini-HDMI-HDMI-Cable/dp/B00NH120NE/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1463349206&sr=1-1&keywords=mini+hdmi+to+hdmi+cable
or
