I am trying to take a 3.5mm stereo output from a computer and plug that into my iphone trrs port and use the audio from the 3.5mm over a phone call. It seems like I need a 3.5mm trrs on the iphone side, but I am not sure what all I need to accomplish this. If I need multiple cables to get that done, that is okay. Thank you for any help.

1) Stereo output is impossible
2) Once you learn that you can only use one channel, just get http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/945088-REG/startech_muyhsfmm_headset_adapter_m_m.html and a trrs to trrs and you're set. You can also use male trrs to 2x male trs if you can find that. Only left or right channel will work
