hi guys so i just installed my gpu i couple of days ago and i have got amd crimson or whatever, basically when i play games like CSGO and stuff the gpu goes up to 67-70 degrees and thats not the worrying part its just that my case feels SUPER hot when i touch it while gaming and i also smell burning rubber.

The smell might be coming from the new GPU honestly. The oil and the plastic always give off a bit of an odor when you first unpack them, but then again I'm not there to smell it for myself. It could be a different smell.

Temperatures still don't suggest any kind of danger. Here's what I would do, buy these and never look back:

Get some extra airflow and rest easy. Feel free to leave the fan on Auto as well.

You need some case fans to keep fresh air flowing through the case. These Coolermaster fans aren't the best, but they get the job done for an incredible price. I've bought multiple sets. If you decide to get them, let me know and I can help you lay out...

What are your specs? I'm surprised your GPU is getting that much load. I imagine you either have a very powerful CPU and weak GPU, or your have a heating problem.

Does fps decrease when temperatures go up? If you need help monitoring that, enable the in-game console and type: net_graph 1

Okay, that explains some. Well, first off, the GPU temperature is 100% fine. In fact, that's normal load for most graphically intense games. I can't recall at the moment, but I'm pretty sure I get low 60s on my 770 when I play CSGO.

Is the GPU new, by any chance? And where do you feel the most heat on the case?

What kind of fan setup do you have?

1.yes i just installed it yesterday with a new psu (evga 600w)
2. the opposite side of the panel that comes off (pretty much everywhere on that side)
3. i haven't installed any fans just the one for the psu (built in) the two for the gpu (built in) and the one for the cpu (built in)

extra: i adjusted the fan speed to 35% it was at 27% on (auto) and it seems to run much better now but people are saying the have there gpu fans at 70%??? could you tell me whats right thanks ;)

That's a difficult question to answer. Let me put it this way, if the fan speed is below 50% and the temperatures are at 60-70, then you are in a good place. I suspect if you install some more case fans, you'll be around 20-30% and 65C.
