So today, I attempted to overclock my i5-4690k to 4.2GHz, and I set the core voltage to 1.15v. Everything seemed stable until about 20 minutes into gameplay of Star Wars: Battlefront, when the audio suddenly froze, and a blank red screen popped up. The red screen showed for about 5 seconds, and then my PC automatically restarted. This has happened before when trying to overclock my CPU, and I'm not sure exactly what the problem is. Is my voltage too high, or too low? My R9 390 GPU is not currently overclocked, and I have the latest Crimson drivers installed. Help is much appreciated :)

For 4.2ghz you should be between 1.20-1.25. 1.15v is not that far from stock voltage is it not? What is stock voltage 1.0 or 1.08?

It was at 1.08v at stock. I bumped the voltage up to 1.2v and no crash yet. Will update if the red screen crash occurs again.
