I've bought a LGA 771 motherboard and 2 LGA 771 coolers for it but when I went to secure the coolers, the screws on the cooler were too thin for the backplate it was supposed to secure into.
I have this motherboard- Intel p/n CPU-S5000SL (A) E11025-302

Will I have to get a new motherboard/cooler? Or is there a fix to this? Thanks!
