Hey All,

I'm having a weird issue overclocking my i7-3770k on an Asus P8Z77-I Deluxe. I'm able to take it the CPU Ratio to 45 without stability issues. When I take it higher than that, it doesn't seem to do anything. Task Manager still reads the processor @4.5, and so does HWMonitor. I tried 47 multiplier, same effect. Am I missing something in my BIOS? I have the voltage set to manual @ 1.35 (I was going to take it lower once I get the clock speed I want).

This seems quite strange.....
Try resetting the OC back to stock settings, and then directly entering your 4.7GHz settings and voltage again from stock speeds.

If it still shows up as 4.5GHz its either a voltage issue, or you might need to contact intel about it, not quite sure.
Is your motherboard on the latest BIOS?
