Can someone compare the Gigabyte GA-Z170M-D3H DDR4 and the Asus Maximus VIII Ranger.
Why is the Asus one priced higher , should i get it instead of the Gigabyte.

Build Specs:

Intel Core i5 6600K (LGA1151 Socket, 3.50 Ghz Turbo Boost to 3.90 Ghz, 6MB Cache) - 6th Generation Skylake for Intel Z170 Chipset DDR4 Technology

Kingston Technology HyperX FURY Black 8 GB 2133 MHz CL14 DIMM DDR4 Internal Memory (HX421C14FB2/8)

Corsair CP-9020098-UK VS Series VS650 650 Watt Power Supply Unit

Samsung 850 EVO 250GB 2.5-Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-75E250BWW)

Gtx 1070 or polaris equivalent.

Solution
The GB is a Micro ATX, the Ranger full ATX so the Ranger has greater expand-ability, Ranger has better BIOS, OC's better, better power phase design/implementation

Thank you for the explanation, i cant really figure out how to check for differences in a motherboard, they all look the same, have decided to go for the Asus Z170 Pro Gaming for now. Do you think its good enough for my build ?

Yes, I almost went with the Pro Gaming myself, but I push my rigs more than most people and am pretty much testing various components on them on a daily basis so I decided to go up a notch and get the Hero. I've done 3 builds now on the Pro Gaming and all the clients love them ;)
