Hello, i have been dealing with a very strange keyboard issue for about 2 weeks now, before i get into it a few things to note, i got a usb port power surge notification about 5 days ago(after this issue started) i went to switch my usb ports and realized i had my keyboard and mouse plugged into the usb 3.0 ports, not sure if thats damaging to the ports or my perifreals in anyway. now to the issue.
whenever i use ctrl i cannot use the d key, i can use the d key when shifting or anything else, and i can use it when i press d first then ctrl.
What i have tried to fix it
-switching usb ports
-using another keyboard(issue is still there)
Thats really the only ways i think i could fix it, my pc is only 6 months old so i dont think its an issue with that. in addition to my questions about this issue i'd like to know if having my mouse and keyboard plugged into my usb 3.0 ports damaged the ports in anyway.
