Just wondering if there is any big difference between the two?

In terms of performance they are just about equal. Also as far as the build goes, don't buy a gtx 970. In 3 weeks the 1070 will be out, it will offer twice the performance of the 970 and cost only $50 more, better run on the integrated HD 530 until then.

Yeah, it's a waste of money at this point, hell even prices haven't went down, if it was for $200 then it would have been a great deal, but as it stands right now, not really worth it.

one feature that only on asus mb is there usb flashback port. it a great feature if the mb bios goes south and yu cant get a post out the mb. you can use a usb stick and standby power to replace the mb.
