I need guidance on...

- The best hard-drive (preferably 1TB) that's reliable and cheap-ish (I'm willing to pay $75 max)
- Guidance on how to install things on a preferred hard-drive and tips in general (I've never used more than 1 drive on any computer in my life)

I don't need to know how to physically install it, I got that down. Correct me if the following is wrong.

- I get the harddrive, insert it, screw it in, then get the SATA cable, hook that up, and get a power cable that I hooked up to my other drive (that's hooked up by a sort of "outlet"), and hook an "outlet" from that cable to my next drive (this new one).

I would really appreciate any help!!
In the mean time, I'm going to shame myself for buying so many steam games.. /facedesk

with retail drives the wd gree nand blue are entry level drives as the cheap seagates. they will last few years. the issue is with the lower end drives now have higher fail rates. if you can pick up a wd red or black drive or higher end av/server drive in your price range it should last longer then the entry level drives.
with sata drives there two cables the data and power. when you order your new drive pick up a 24 inch cable. with sata cables if there short you can snap the connector off with not a lot of force. with the drive installed in the case with the pc off. boot the pc go into the bios. under sata ports if you installed it right the drive will show up. then boot into windows you have to go to windows disk management and make...
