I am upgrading soon, and I just want reassurance that this rig will run fine.

I am getting:

-HyperX FURY 16 GB DDR4 2400 MHz Memory Kit (2 x 8 GB)
-Asus H170-PRO Motherboard (Socket 1151, H170 Express, DDR4, SATA 600, ATX)
-Intel Core i7 Quad-Core i7-6700 3.4GHz Processor CPU

I already have a GTX 970.

Are we all good? :)

Yup, everything looks good to me. You have a non-overclocking CPU and Motherboard and DDR4 RAM. Just make sure whatever Power Supply you currently have is sufficient.
