Hello everybody!

I have a wierd problem with my P9X79 LE. If I set mode to Asus Optimal some processes (like rendering in Premiere Pro) takes actualy even more time than with Normal Mode.
So I take a look at performance in task manager and I saw what processor work at only around 2GHz while rendering with Optimal Mode (I have 3.40GHz processor), while with Normal Mode processor always works at it's full speed.

So why this happening? Why I have much less performance in Optimal mode?

Thanks!

Auto overclocking isn't a recommended choice of route when you want to squeeze the best out of your system. I'd suggest leaving it at Normal mode or manually incrementing your frequency's for your CPU in tandem with your ram to get the full package however I must ask, what are your full system's specs inclusive of OS?
