WOL strange behavior

sounds like typical RAM issue. That is essentially what it looks like if a ram stick is improperly seated or bad/dead.

lol i didn't even read the WOL part.
The server is having an issue starting up from the power state it is left in(which I've always had issues with low power states). I don't suppose the servers/motherboards manual specifies any settings required for WOL? I would look into the manual for that, possibly a certain setting needs to be in place in the "bios" settings for power management.
