I need what I think is a wired version of a "hotspot" - but don't know what to search for. I want to buy cell service from some provider (eg TMobile) and have a box that will communicate with them just like a cell phone would. The box will provide me with a wired ethernet connection so I can access the internet from my PC. Does anyone make such boxes, and if so what are they called?

The closest I can think to that would be a USB hotspot combined with router that supports one. Usually you can find them in the more business oriented products as it is used a fallback.
