After turning my PC on for the first time in the day, it makes the "click" noise to turn on, and then turns off after 2 seconds, it turns back on and then off in 5 seconds, then 7 seconds, then it finally turns back on again.

Once it is on, it work for around 5-10 minutes, until it either blue screens and restarts, or just completely freezes and turns itself off. From what I can personally assume, I would guess this is an issue with my PSU, but I'm not entirely sure, and if it is an issue with my PSU not feeding enough power to the rest of my PC, I have been advised to refrain from attempting to turn it on and off again, as it may damage my components. Thus making it so I can't perform any system diagnostics. However, at the time of it starting to crash frequently, I checked the CPU temps and they appeared to be fine, as I had someone asking me about that.

My computer has been working fine for around a year now, and I built it myself, but has only starting doing this recently? Please help, as I am unsure what to do.

Parts:
MoBo: MSI Z97 G5
CPU: Intel i5 4690k
GPU: MSI GTX 970
PSU: Corsair RM750
RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance 1600Mhz DDR3
HDD: Seagate 1TB
SDD: Samsung 840 EVO

I've a friend who had same cpu and mobo and his computer was also 1year old and we couldn't fix a problem with it (sometimes working sometimes not) and turned out that mobo was broken.

U can try setting default bios settings from bios and see if that helps!

So what would this change? And would you still advise doing this if I have never changed anything with the bios settings? Thanks dude :)

You can acces bios when you start your PC and there comes your motherboard logo and it says Press (DEL/F2/F9/F1) or something else to acces bios.

Then in bios you go to
1. SETTINGS
2. Save & Exit
3. Restore defaults
Your pc will shut down and reboot

Try that and let me know if it works :)

I have tried doing this, and my PC actually booted up perfectly for the first time in a while. Also, I have been on my computer for around 40 minutes now, used social media, browsed the internet, and played some games, and so far it has been just fine. However, I am not going to get my hopes up, and I will repost sometime over the weekend to say if it has stayed this way. Thank you @sanzufin!

After 3 hours, my PC crashed again, making me believe the problem is still there. Any suggestions?

EDIT: It was also a blue screen, I don't know if that helps :)

Hmm strange..
There is some other things to try:

1. Check all the cables (CPU/GPU/MOBO)
2. Do a stress test and see if your temperatures are going like 85c-100c
3. Remove your GTX 970 and try to use it without it
4. Windows clean install
5. Rebuild your computer

I have briefly read over this article but I am not sure what it is stating I should do as it appears to be a very complicated article, summary? (sorry!)
