GeForce 9800 gt DVI to hdmi at 1920x1080

hi, i got this old pc that i want to connect to a hdtv, i had a newer pc on that tv on hdmi, so i bought a dvi to hdmi cable and pluged, the thing is that i cant pass the 1280 x 720 resolution, is there a limitation with the card? i uptdate the video drivers and i dont know where to look

the 9800 GT can do 1920x1080 just fine. whats likely happening here is a communication issue with the TV and the card causing the card to not get the proper resolution support lists back to auto add higher resolutions. i would try forcing 1920x1080 in the Nvidia control panel and see what happens.

I dont know really how but windows managed to download something and after a restart it was running at 1920x1080
