The blue light on the HDD is on and the disc inside is spinning when it is connected as it should be. Once you connect it it, PC makes recognition noises and then nothing appears. I have checked other PC's and I get the same response. Took it out and put it back in again through different usb ports and nothing.

Hello, Did you or someone drop it?
As this is what happens when they have been.

You could try try unscrewing the caddy and trying it direct into a PC, as it may be the controller in the case thats broken.

No, nobody drop it. Today what I did is I bought a new USB cable, the HDD is listed under "devices and printers" but I am not able to find it in "my PC" section. I am able to see my local disc C and DVD drive... but not the Samsung disc. What do you think it is?

Were you able to see the screen capture? There is no option to format the disk. But if it were, I don't want to lose the data.
Thank you in advance "Spencer_10" for the support

First select GPT disk , then you need to right click again to assign it a letter / path

you may find it easier in cmd.exe
