Hi. I have an ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0 motherboard with 16GB DDR3 RAM, AMD K6 CPU, 1 TB hard drive, 2 DVD drives, and 1GB video card. Installed WIndows 10 last summer and all was fine. No new hardware since then.
But recently, it began to occasionally give a series of short single beeps, one per every 15 seconds or so. But, not always. Invariably that day or another one soon, it will not boot Windows 10 giving any number of different error messages. Repair options do not work. Even though I did a Restore Point, that will not work. So I do a clean install, it takes it, and a scan of the hard drive says all is fine. The RAM checks okay. All 4 case fans work and the internal temp and CPU temp are fine.
Ideas? Driving me crazy.
