HDD Circuit Board Swap Help

Hi, I have a SEAGATE Barracuda ST3400620AS 400GB 7200RPM 16MB Cache 3.5" SATA II Hard Drive which the connector, the plastic part that the data cable goes onto snapped thus I can't get a connection.

I have found the exact HD on ebay, so, will it work just swapping the logic boards?

Nope.
You'll need to swap over the eeprom chip too

I see, I wont be able to do that at all, I'll phone a few local PC shops to see if they can do this for me I guess.

Any tempory fixes?
