Hi, I'm looking to upgrade my CPU. I would like to run high performance games such as DayZ GTA V and such.

Heres my basic info from Speccy.

Operating System
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1
CPU
AMD Athlon II X2 240 46 °C
Regor 45nm Technology
RAM
8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 533MHz (8-7-7-20)
Motherboard
Dell Inc. 04GJJT (CPU 1) 53 °C
Graphics
SAMSUNG (1280x1024@60Hz)
1024MB ATI AMD Radeon HD 5670 (XFX Pine Group) 55 °C

DayZ is poorly coded and any CPU has issues. You are quite limited by your motherboard and its power delivery, to any upgrade. You have an old system. It needs to be completely rebuilt to run modern high-performance games. As a pre-built Dell, the BIOS will significantly limit what improvements you can make.

For the cost of parts and labor in upgrading, you could build a new computer better.
