Hi. I just tried to install a new graphics card. The card went in alright but when I turned my computer back on I got only to the HP logo and then it froze and beeped three long beeps.
I then tried removing and reconnecting ram and then it just kept beeping upon turning it back on. I removed the graphics card and put in the old graphics card and the computer works fine. What do you think is going on! Thanks.

FYI I am running Windows 7 64 bit, HP HPE-1130A computer.

Hi. The GPU I tried to install was NVIDIA GT710 and my power supply is 300W: it is the stock standard HP power supply as I am using a HP-HPE-1130A machine.

Yes. I'm well aware of this. I removed ram and reinserted it when power was off but it didn't do anything.
I put in old graphics card and the system booted properly with no beeps.
