will Thermalright HR-02 Macho Rev. B damage my cpu?

Solution
My best suggestion to you then is to talk to the customer support for the CPU Cooler and do two things.

1. Ask them why you need the spacer.
2. Ask them how long it would take to ship to you.

Then make up your mind whether its worth destroying your skylake just to save time.

Buy a different cooler if you can't wait on the spacer. Skylake CPUs and motherboards can be damaged by some coolers without proper mounting.

I asked thermalright and they said its because they´ve seen reports of havier coolers (not only thermalright) damaging skylake builds, so they decided to solve this problem with these spacers. So its not something to do whith macho rev b only, but atleast with macho rev b you have the option to get one of those spacers which you dont have with many other, even havier coolers.

Exactly what I said in my first post. Early reports had some heavier coolers damaging Skylake CPUs and motherboards. It was never an issue with the high end stuff like Noctua and Phanteks though as they already had excellent mounting systems.
