My PC with mainboard Gigabyte H61M-S1 hangs in windows with new 4GB ram installed.

The old ram is 1333 DDR3 Kingston 2GB, the PC is working fine with it.

The new ram I tried to replace is 2 sticks of 1333 DDR3 Kingmax 4GB.

With the new ram installed the PC will always hang or freeze at some point past the windows welcome or login screen. (everything before windows is fine)
In Safe Mode the PC doesn't hang or freeze at all.

I saw that the bios successfully recognized the new ram, and so is the dxdiag thing.
The PC also appeared to startup slower than normal with the new ram installed.

Since I don't know much about this stuff so I can only gather what CPU-Z told me about my PC:

Please tell me if you get any idea of what went wrong or is it just simply that my PC is too old for this upgrade?

1| Have you made sure your BIOS is up to date?
2| Can you please state your full system's specs inclusive of your OS(it looks like Windows 7)?
3| Can you also state the information on the side of your new ram sticks? It'd help if you can post pictures of them if you're confused on what to state off the stickered side.
4| Have you tried using only one stick of 4GB ram?
