Hello everybody,

i have an AMD FX 8320 at 4.5 ghz a GTX 970 MSI Gaming Edition, a Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 (rev. 4.0) motherboard and 8gb Corsair Vengeance DDR3 RAM at 1866Mhz. Now with the new nvidia cards i was thinking if it would be better to get a new motherboard with an i5 6600k or just upgrade the gpu with a gtx 1070(assuming that the difference between the 1080 is the same as the 970 with the 980). I am playing, for now, at an 1080p monitor.

My main goal is, for the most part, gaming at constant 60 fps at 1080p! What do you guys think?

yeah you are pretty much at max gpu your cpu can handle

if you want to jump to a gtx 1070 then an i5 setup would be a good idea
