Hello everybody,
First of all, thank you for taking your precious time to read or help me. I will be grateful for any answer.

Here is my problem and the details:
I live in Djibouti a very poor country in technology where powerful materials are missing.
I have bought a hp 3500 pro a year ago for its processor it has an i7-3770 i was planing to upgrade it.
So first i had from my old computer a gpu wich was a radeon hd 5770 wich has been working perfectely for months but unfortunately it has broken 4 months later.
I then bought a Gigabyte gtx 750 2gb here it is http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4983#ov
I perfectly pluged it on the motherboard (it fits great) it comes with only a 6 pins. Although I put it perfectly and plugged in the 6 pins it says : "please power down and connect the pcie power cables for this graphics card" once the computer boots.
I tried to upgrade my psu from a 500watts to a 650watts but I had the same message.
Then I said maybe my problem comes from the motherboard (compatibility issue). I upgrated the mobo from a hp foxconn 2ab to a gigabypte h61m-s2pt http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4879#ov
(its the only lga 1155 available in this country) its bios date from 11th december 2013.
But it still has the same problem.
Help me guys pleaaaase.
THANK YOU.

NB: the graphic card come with 6 pins only it doesnt have another pins.
I found in the box a cable with 6pins in a side and two female (i think this cable is for the old psu because mine has its own cable to power the gpu)

My SPEC:
I7-3770 LGA1155 3.4GHZ~3.9GHZ
GA-H61M-S2PT
GA-GTX750 2GB DDR5
6GB RAM DDR3 (2GB 800MHZ) & (4GB 1600HZ)
PSU HKC V-POWER 650W

The card is apparently not recognizing the 6-pin connector in its header for some reason. Have you tried the latest gfx driver from the Nvidia web site? http://www.geforce.com/#/
If that doesn't fix it, I'd suspect the card was defective.

On the other hand, if you don't plan on OC'ing the gfx card, you don't need to 6-pin anyway. If you can put up with the nag message.

Hi,
Thank you very much for your answer.
How will I download the lastest driver if i can't switch on the computer? Maybe by usin the integrated intel graphic?
No im not planing an OC so are you sure that i can use my gpu with only the pci 3.0 express without the 6 pins?

I didn't know you couldn't turn on the computer. I thought you could get to the desktop, but had to put up with the nag message.
No you cant install a driver for the card unless it is in the slot. If you can leave it in the slot and run the monitor off the iGPU, you might be able to. But some boards disable the iGPU output when they see a card in the PCIe x16 slot.

My GPU has been released in March 2014 and my motherboard has been released in December 2013 and it still has the same bios. Do you think by upgrading the bios it'll work?

I can use my machine without the GPU ( without the GTX 750) means my machine will run with the intel's graphic processor. But once i plug the GTX 750 i get that message error.

Oh. OK. In that case, I'd return the card. It is evidently defective.
