Hey guys,
I am having a real prpblem with first boot of newly built system. Specs are as follows:
Mobo: MSI X99S Sli plus
Cpu: intel i7 5820k @3.3
Hdd: seagate constellation e.s3 2tb
Ssd: samsung 850 pro 256gb
HSF: fortis 3
RAM: 2x16gb vengeace lpx 2666 MHz cmk32gx4m2a2666c16
Gpu for testing: gts 450 palit
Case: enthoo primo gold
Psu: corsair hx850i

So after initial assemble everything turns on - fans, gpu, hdd, drive - but monitor shows "no signal". I know that it is most frequent problem with first builds etc. Furthermore nothing beeps ( yes I've connected speaker to mobo ). I've double checked all connections to psu - 24 pin and 8 pin are both connected, pwm hub is connected to cpu_fan and fan from hsf is connectod to 1 slot in hub - this hub comes with phanteks case ( I didnt connected the +12 from psu because i've read that it isn't required ). After 2 more dismantling and assembling nothing changed. Cpu is connected in a right way - triangles are matched and no pins are bent. I have followed every step in guide found on this site and nothing wrong poped up. Now i have take out mobo with hsf, gpu, hdd, psu and ram , and connected them on table without case. After following the extended guide that I've saw somewhere on this forum i've started testing components. Without ram and gpu there are 3 long beeps and fan is spinning but nothing else happens. After inserting 1 stick to DIMM 1 there are no beeps - as far as i know there should be beep caused by missing gpu. I have concluded that problem can be with mobo or with ram sticks. Is it possible that my mobo isn't compatibile with my rams? At the shop site there were info that it is compatibile if I remember correctly but I cant find this model at MSI Compatibility list. I've already spent 12h fighting this pc and I would really appreciate any help that you guys can provide. And thanks in advance for any replies :)

Did you add a motherbd speaker? The sli plus does not have one built in...

Anyways, your ram is not on Corsairs compatible list for the Sli plus motherbd either for what thats worth.

Have you tried plugging the cpu fan into the cpu fan socket on the motherbd? Lets rule out a cpu fan detection problem though I suspect the problem is actually the ram.

When I've assembled parts on table I have pluged hsf fan to cpu_fan and yea i have connected speakers from old rig. I've thought about buying any cheap ram stick from list and checking whenever pc will POST.

Problem was solved by changing ram sticks to another that were on compatibility list.

Quick question thou - can I buy 2 single sticks and connect them in dual channel or do I have to buy pack of 2 sticks ?
On list there are this crucial ram sticks 16Gb CT16G4DFD8213.16FB1 but they are only single ones - duals have different product code.
