Hi, this is the first time I'm ever posting on Tom's Hardware though I've used this forum before which has helped me numerous times in the past, however I am unable to find anything that helps me at the moment and decided I should make a post myself.

This issue started happening earlier in the year, while playing CS:GO my computer would randomly just restart as if I had hit the restart button, it would just power down then start back up with a Kernel-Power Event 41 error with all the parameters in EventData being 0. Just recently it started occurring more frequently, I am currently trying to play Rise of the Tomb Raider and it constantly keeps restarting.

Something I have noticed is that right after a crash the computer would crash a lot more quickly the next time I used it, and it only happens with games. I could play Rise of the Tomb Raider for 4 hours earlier today, after the first crash it crashed just minutes after my second attempt, then immediately after I hit the "continue game" button on the third attempt.

I assumed it was a heat issue at first, however my cooling is more than efficient, my GPU has never risen past 68 degrees Celsius, and the CPU has never risen above 55 degrees Celsius. By the time the computer restarts the temperatures for both are well below 40 and the computer crashes almost instantly again.

I replaced my GPU because I believed it to be a faulty GPU, however the issue is still occurring with the new GPU, so my next assumption is that it may be a PSU or Motherboard issue, however I don't currently have the financial stability to replace both any time soon so I'm trying to determine what the exact problem is.

My System Specs are as follows:
CPU:Intel i7-4790K 4.0GHz Processor
GPU: ASUS Strix Gaming GeForce GTX 980 Ti (however I had a standard Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 when this issue started happening, I only recently upgraded my GPU to the 980 Ti)
Motherboard: Gigabyte H97-Gaming 3 (updated to latest BIOS, F7)
PSU: Antec EDG750 Power Supply, 750W 80+ Gold, Modular
Operating System: Windows 10 Professional, 64-bit

I have never overclocked any component in my system, however I believe the ASUS Strix Gaming GeForce GTX 980 Ti is overclocked by factory, the box says "OC Edition".

My PSU is about 18 months old, all other components are about 9 months old with the exception of the 980 Ti which is about 5 days old.

I have double-checked my PSU connections to all my hardware components by removing and rebuilding the system (with the same parts), the issue still occurs. I have tried a different AC cable and tried different sockets in the household (just to be sure it isn't a socket issue).

My nVidia drivers are completely up-to-date. I re-installed Windows 7 only two days ago and re-upgraded to Windows 10 shortly after, all drivers have been installed and are up to date.

If you need any other information, please ask. I am really in desperate need for a solution and would appreciate any help, thank you.
