This is the 3rd PC I've built and I can't figure out what's wrong.

All fans spin, there is a mobo light, no output at all, no keyboard light.

I've gone through the list of things to check and nothing fixes it.

Asus b85M-G
i5 4690
1x8gb stick - tested and works on other system
Corsair g550m

Right now it's on a test-bench and I've tried almost everything.
Clear cmos doesn't work, different ram slots/ram doesn't work, I've cleaned it etc.

Solution
Managed to fix it, what a shitshow.
We went through 3/4 BIOS update methods and the 4th fixed it.
I had to use the bios updater in Windows 10 (the one which didn't work earlier)
I fixed the intel drivers by downloading a 2013 version linked in some forum - the one on the ASUS site isn't recognized, same with the latest intel one.
Updated the bios to the latest with the windows program and it works now, pretty poor from ASUS if you ask me :(

Well something's fucking up.
My brother has a 4440 and his mobo.
The 4440 works on my mobo.
My mobo is on the latest BIOS but won't accept my CPU.
His mobo accepts my CPU.
I don't get what's happening, my mobo hates my cpu even though it shouldnt

Keeps saying there is no intel management engine interface driver even though I've installed all the latest ones

Did it with EZ Update and it said it worked, asked me to restart.
Now there is a single white _ on a black screen, did it die...?

The manual says that you need a DOS bootable USB drive

Well mobo didn't die.
It updated to latest version but 4590 still doesn't work. :(

I think the manual and this version are completely different.
Following the manual: bad command or filename -"bupdater".update

Well I'll have to try again tomorrow.

It looked similar to the one in the manual.

But just to be sure:
1) I format the pen drive correctly

2)I drag all the files from this update :Version 2108
Description B85M-G BIOS 2108 and BIOS updater
http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA1150/B85M-G/B85M-G-ASUS-2108_and_BIOS-updater.zip

Straight into the pen drive (I tried dragging the whole folder and no "extra" folders)

and boot with it?

I tried running update.exe in the prompt but it said it can only be run in windows.
