As described i would like to upgrade to i7 6700k from AMD 8120 my budget is 750 euro

i would like to upgrade my pc from amd 8120 to i7 6700k
(Becuse i would like to stay away from AMD <Bad experience with this company after all>)
i want to overclock this system a bit, just for some extra juice ;)

what would you recommend?

i was thinking about:

i7 6700k & Asus Maximus III Extreme and 8gb of ddr4 ram then use my AMD cooler with intel mounting brackets Cryorig H5 Universal then spare some money for like 2-3 months and then buy
a water-cooling solution for like 120-140 euros?

Anyway what would you recommend me doing, maybe other mainboard etc?
maybe some type of cheaper mainboard like asus rog viii hero and buy a cooler
at the beginning?

my budget is like 1500 euro but i need to buy a gaming laptop for 750e so the rest for the pc is 750e
980m and i7 4870hq becuse i do a lot of traveling ;)

So you're ditching the laptop and putting your whole budget into a good gaming desktop then? Is that the plan?

That's a nice monitor, but it's FreeSync and won't give you adaptive sync with an Nvidia card.

I don't have time right now, but will check back later and make some suggestions if someone else hasn't come along to help you out.

Why not check out some Gsync displays like:
- https://www.amazon.de/Acer-XB271HUAbmiprz-DisplayPort-Reaktionszeit-h%C3%B6henverstellbar/dp/B01EN5JN5K/ref=sr_1_121?ie=UTF8&qid=1464323162&sr=8-121&keywords=g-sync+27
So if a nice gaming laptop is a must for your lifestyle, I'm curious why you would spend money on a high end desktop too? Obviously you can always do more with a desktop for your money, but if you're getting the laptop, and must have the laptop, why not just spend your whole budget on the best laptop you can? Get a KB+Mouse and Monitor to game on at home when you're not travelling.

Anyway, if you are set on a desktop too, don't waste money on a CLC when you have an solid cooler, that Cryorig H5 is fine for a 6700K, especially if you're only looking for a small OC.

Also, you unless you have some very specific requirements, you don't need to spend anything like that kind of money on a motherboard. Expensive motherboards give you extra features, and sometimes, if you're chasing ultimate overclocks, they can allow you squeeze a tiny bit extra out of your CPU, but generally speaking motherboards do not affect performance whatsoever, it's all about features. So unless you really need the features on a high end board like that, save yourself a bunch of money and get something cheaper. Look at entry level Z170 boards, or even mid range ones. There should be plenty of options in the 110 to 150 euro range.

List your region or preferred online store and I'll take a look for you if you like?

My gpu is gtx 970, but i think i wont buy this laptop becuse it would be for traveling and i dont travel that much
vacation and stuff thats all.. so what would you recommend me doing?

for 1500 euros could i do a really good overclock?

my gpu is 970
and i would like to get a gaming monitor for that money too ;)
as my mobo i would like to get something from 200 euros shelf becuse i would like to overclock it really good ;)

mobo costs 200 and i7 6700k costs another 320 euros meaning that i have about
480 euros to spend on cooling and ram etc, maybe i should try to sell my gtx 970 for like 240euros
and get about 740 and add about 40 extra euros and buy a gtx 980ti?

please could you please send me a recommended mobo cooling etc.

as my monitor i would like a very cool screen BenQ XL2730Z at wqhd 144hz which is priced at 500 eur so its 500 eur from my 1500 budget meaning that i have 1000 left on pc

i buy stuff at amazon.de or sometimes arlt.de <- Not cheap but its 8km from me
or any stores in "Mannheim, Germany"

my psu is "Corsair CS 750M" 90+ gold rated
