an msi z97 pc mate mobo(http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130779&cm_re=msi_z97_pc_mate-_-13-130-779-_-Product)

and im looking to buy this ram(http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145345)

is the ram compatible?

*cpu says it can only use 1333 ddr3, but i have seen other posts of people using higher frequency ram.*

Solution
yes they will work 1600 are compatible in all haswell boards i am running crucial balisit sports ddr3 1600 2x4 atm & run all sticks my are 1600s they the way to go as oversupply glut in the market they are cheap but neglible in diffrence dont go any higher ur end up doing more harm as u get aggressive on Over clocking

im mostly likely not going to oc the ram. ive oc'd the cpu to 4ghz on stock at 1.100v and im leaving it alone aha. So these should plug and play and just resort back down to 1333 speeds to match the pentiums specs? or will they run at the full 1600 mhz? will running higher speed ram damage the cpu at all?
