Convert Mini-USB Microphone to 3.5mm microphone jack

Hi,

I'm looking to buy a Blue Yeti USB mic.
I'll be getting a new pc that I will able to livestream with later this year.
But in the meantime, I will still be using my Xbox One.
I wasted my money 3 years ago when I was 15 and bought a €130 Tritton headset that doesn't work the way it's supposed to. It actually isn't even meant for an Xbox One, the mixamp gives a loud hum and I have it permantently turned off. It basically is a stereo headset with pretty bad sound now.

I tried my cheap €25 Creative headset that has a missing microphone, yet it has like 10 times better sound then the expensive one.

I have a cable that splits the 4-ring jack from the xbox one controller into 2 3-ring jacks; one for a mic and one for headphones.

So is there some device that can translate the Blue Yeti mic to 3.5mm jack?

There is no easy way to do that as you would need a digital to analog converter and a method to supply power to the microphone .(No power in a 3.5mm).
However I believe the Blue Yeti has a built in 3.5 mm headphone jack which you could use with a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable directly into the computer mic input,though it will be at a higher level than a microphone so you would need to turn the mic volume down.

You need an adapter - something like this:

However, if you google "four ring mini plug to 3.5MM plug adapter" you will find many similar products.

Just verifiy the jack diameters and genders needed to match the connection you have in mind.

Once you have the specific details then use them to find a matching adapter. Do not necessarily go with the lowest price...lots of junk/cheap knock-off products are being sold.

Hi.
I was checking a youtube video about it before I posted this question, I thought it was a analog Yeti. But you are right. I checked the video again just now to look more carefully, and I can use the headphone jack in the mic.
