Hi,
So I have a Be quiet dark rock pro 3 CPU cooler on a AND FX8350 CPU on and MSI 970 Motherboard. It came to my attention that only one of the fans was connected (the middle fan) and this was to the cpufan socket on the motherboard. I have been looking round for something like a cpufan2 socket but I haven't seen one. Is it ok for me to plug the intake fan of the dark rock pro 3 into the sysfan2 slot or is this bad?
Another question is when I plug the fans into the slots do they have to go in order so for example sysfan1 sysfan2 and sysfan3 or can they go sysfan1 sysfan3 and sysfan4? Does it effect anything or do I need to change anything in the bios?
Thanks for help

Yeah I assume so but is there anyway I can check this? And I understand what you mean about having two fans run when needed but don't you think it would be a good idea to have one fan running at all times and then have one fan kick in when needed or?

Both fans will run at all times, you may not be able to control case fan sockets so the fan could run 100% all the time and be noisy. How do control your CPU cooler fan speed at the moment?

Thanks for the help, I don't have anyway of controlling them at the moment so if you have an idea that would be great. So is the best option to get a pwm y splitter of whatever? If so can I get any or what because I have a MSI 970 motherboard
