My computer keeps disconnecting SSD/HDD so I thought I would update my motherboard BIOS and SATA drivers to potentially fix this problem, however, I found that I cannot access my BIOS! I try and press DEL or F12 to get to BIOS or boot menu but it won't go and just starts up windows 10. I tried to download gigabyte motherboard manager for updates but it won't download and I read up on this program having problems. Also tried the Gigabyte Suite I already have installed and that fails out as well. So now not only do I have a problem with drives disconnecting, I also cannot access the BIOS. I am trying to figure my next action; I was going to disconnect the M2 which has my operating system on it and see if I can then get into the BIOS afterword or take the battery out of motherboard and disconnect power to see if this resets something, any help on a solution or what to try next would be appreciated.

Solution
I looked in the mother board manual and it had me touch a screw drive to the two CMOS posts to reset the BIOS. I then started the computer up and it allowed me to press DEL key to get into BIOS and update it.
Hi

Is your windows 8 or 10?

Quick shutdown And quick startup make it difficult to get into the Uefi or safe mode

Shift restart gets to options for safe mode next start or going into uefi or various repair options

There are slight variations for 8, 8.1 or 10

Look this up on Google for full details
