I know this question has been asked before many times on many forums. I am creating a new thread because in this case I am upgrading and have fairly specific requirements. First of all, I am upgrading from an NZXT Source 340 case. Both of the above cases meet my needs. I have two important requirements. First and foremost, I want good, clean cable management as I just hate messy wires, and have always found cable management to be an issue in my current case. In addition, I need to have good airflow. In this area, I know that the H440 loses, however, noise is important to me as well so is the trade-off of lesser airflow for greater silence worth it(what is the difference going to be in airflow between the cases?). Lastly, which has better build quality, as my S340 was scratched up very easily(literally cracker crumbs scratched it).

Thanks for any help.

Depending on which S340 you're talking about the only victim to cracker crumbs(and a heavy hand while wiping) will be the Razer Edition outside of that the paint on the S340 is to be durable(except the matte area's on the top). In the note of silence, please understand that when you are going for silence this will entail you to run your enclosure with sound dampening on the panels and the case overall or have the fans run at a reduced rpm or both. When you have the fans set to reduced rpm's the issue becomes apparent when your components will heat up but your fans won't ramp up meaning you will have heat build up in your case.

On the topic of cablemanagement, the S340 is a stellar performer with cabling work, it all depends on the person working with it and how much time you dedicate to it. The H440 ins't a good contender in that department since cables can be strewn across the HDD area although has multiple tie down points may suffer from the same issue you faced on the S340 which is made by the same company.

Have you thought about the Fractal Define R5 chassis? Might we ask what your system's specs are? The H440 will loose out on the HDD drive caddy placement area if you populate the chassis with a watercooling AIO unit with push/pull setup.

If it's between the 2 you've put in the title, I'd go for the Corsair simply because it has better airflow, better build quality and ofc the ease of building in one.
