Hey! I've been wanting to build my own pc for a while, and I've been trying to make/find a good $1900 - $2000 build.
I don't have a lot of knowledge about computers, so please make adjustments to this list if you feel like it needs improvement.
I'm not too sure about what's good and what's not, so I figured I'd just make a thread here to see what people think.

Here it is: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/P4YQzM

or here: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/MatthewTheGamer/saved/#view=c7HcCJ

Any feedback is appreciated!

Yeah, I think I'm going to go for the gtx 1080 or the 1070, but it's not on pcpartpicker yet. Also, thanks for the suggestion of the cpu cooler! Much appreciated.

It looks like it will be fun to put together and use. Let me know how that case works for you. I have an NZXT Phantom 410 housing my current rig, Those Cryorigs are nice. I put one in my wife's computer. when I upgrade mine, I'm going to replace the CM Hyper 212 EVO with the Cryorig. Easy to install, and good clearance for tall heat spreaders on the ram modules.

Nice, I spent a lot of time thinking about what case I was going to use, and after taking everything into consideration, I decided to go for the NZXT Noctis 450. I have however, seen a few reviews about that the case is small and a tight fit. I've also seen that it scratches easily, but those things aside, I hope it's a great case (because is sure does look like one).

This is also my first time building a pc, so I hope it goes smoothly without any major problems.

Anyways, thanks for replying, and for the suggestion. Have a good day!

One more thing, for the cpu cooler, is the one you chose for me "top notch"? Because I'm really not that worried about my budget, as long as it's under $150-$200 it's fine. If you have any better cpu coolers in mind, please inform me.

Thanks again!

Toms Hardware recently did a "best cooling" article, and did not include any of the Cryorigs, because they based their "tests" on what cooler were sent to them by manufacturers for free. Hardly a test group that holds up well to any statistical empirical scrutiny.

The Cryorigs are noted for ease of installation, well made, and ability to fit over ram modules with tall heat spreaders, not to mention to do the job they are intended...keep the cpu cool. You can spend more on a cooler, and if you with to go towards liquid cooling, that's always an option. Just know that spending more on a computer component doesn't always guarantee it's really any better or efficient.

what has been done, can always be undone. There is an unselect current solution button. You can choose again

Oh, sorry, I didn't see that. Well, I am pretty new to these forums.

No problem. I'm not sure how long it took for me to notice that as well ;)
