I am replacing my Linksys AC1600 router with the Linksys WRT1900 AC router. Is there a way that I can transfer my current settings from the old router to the new one? I have port forwarding and other items setup for gaming and cameras that would take a bit of time reconfiguring.

Perhaps.

Save the settings from the AC1600 and see what information is being captured. Map that to the AC1900. If there is a one-to-one correspondence then you might give it a try.

And I would expect that the AC1900 would report some problem or incompatability error if it did not recognize or otherwise "like" the incoming file from the AC1600. Some error would show up.

Then again the AC1900 might just say okay and accept the configuration file. Still no guaranee the file's data would work.

I would think, worst case, that any problems would be done away with via a factory reset on the AC1900.

But, to be honest, I would simply contact Linksys via email and ask them. Then maybe a chat to verify and get a "second opinion"...

Doing all of the above may or may not take more time and effort versus just grinding through a manual reconfiguration. Sort of a subjective judgement call.
